Samuel Harvill (3-21-21) service 3-26-21

Samuel H. “Papa Sam” Harvill, 82, of Counce, died on Sunday, March 21.
He was born in McNairy County, the son of the late Thomas Isom Harvill and Lela Odessa South Harvill. He was united in marriage to Helen J. Gray, who survives.
Mr. Harvill was a retired steel worker from LTV Steel in Counce. He was a member of Counce First Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Helen J. Harvill of Counce; daughter, Belinda Barlow; sons, Thom Harvill of Counce, Tony Harvill of Collierville, Tennessee and Tim Harvill of Counce; one brother, Larry Harvill of Michie; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; as well as a host of nieces and nephews he loved as his own.

Visitation will be Friday, March 26, at 5 p.m., at Counce First Baptist Church with a memorial service at 6:30 p.m.
