Nobia “Helen” Youngblood (3-15-21)

Nobia Helen Sisson Youngblood 93, originally of Savannah, passed away Monday, March 15, in Desoto Illinois, at her daughter’s residence.
She was 25-year employee of Brown Shoe Company.
Helen was born in Noland, Arkansas on Dec 1, 1927, to Noble Howard Sisson and Mary Louise Batta Sisson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Henry “Hank” Youngblood; two brothers, Leslie Sisson and Howard “Buck” Sisson; two sisters, Lucille McAnally and Mary Faulkner; and one son-in-law, Noel Cobb.
She is survived by three daughters, Charlotte Cobb of Huntingdon, Tennessee, Mardi (Greg) Meadows of Desoto, Illinois, and Lynne (Roy) Keehn of Murphysboro, Illinois; one son, Hank (Kathy) Youngblood of Middleton, Tennessee. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
