Martha “Bonnie” Hammock (3-13-21) service 3-18-21

Martha M. “Bonnie” Hammock, 90, of Counce, died Saturday, March 13, at Hardin Home Nursing Home in Savannah.
Mrs. Hammock was a member of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church. She was a homemaker and was also formerly employed at Wurlitzer Organ Company in Corinth. She enjoyed reading her Bible, gardening, and sitting on her front porch. She especially loved watching her grandchildren grow up and teaching them about Jesus.
She is survived by one son, Marty Hammock (Tammy) of Counce; one daughter, Vanessa Kanizai (Dennis) of Savannah; three sisters, Frances Comer and Juanita Branum, both of Iuka, Mississippi, and Betty Seaman of Nebraska; five grandchildren, Jessica Jennings (Justin) of Savannah, Danna Kanizai of Florence, Alabama, Tiffany Gent (Mark) of Kingsport, Tennessee, Thomas Lee Hammock of Counce and Stacy Hammock of Savannah; nine great-grandchildren, Alivia Jennings, Rylie Kanizai, Allie Hensley, Jamie Hensley, Keely Sarratt, Emily Hammock, Matthew Hammock, Wyatt Gent and Lauren Gent; and one great-great-grandchild, Carter Sarratt.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ezra B. Hammock; two sons, Ezra Wayne Hammock and Thomas Edward Hammock; and three grandchildren, Keri Hammock, Tyler Tucker and Dennis William Kanizai.
Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, Mississippi, is entrusted with arrangements. Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m., Thursday, March 18, at Lighthouse Pentecostal Church in Nixon, officiated by Ernie Cordova. Interment will follow in White Sulphur Springs Cemetery.
Pallbearers include Richard Childers, Charles Howard, John Brown, Johnny Middleton, Matt Davis and Tony Fondren.
