Neal “Yogi” Bowden (2-28-21) service 3-6-21

Neal “Yogi” Bowden, 85, of Shiloh, died on Sunday, Feb. 28, in Savannah.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Noah Worley and Ermar Alberta Durbin Bowden.
Mr. Bowden served his country in the United States Army for two years. He retired as a Tennessee River commercial fisherman and also had worked for Alamo Ammunition Plant in Alamo, Tennessee.
He is survived by his son, Jimmy Neal Bowden of Shiloh; and stepson, Dwayne Black of Savannah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia Bowden; one grandchild; two sisters, Louise Wilkerson and Betty Bowden Price; and four brothers, Troy Lee Davis, James Bowden, Howard “Cotton” Bowden and Loyd Bowden.
Services were held on Saturday, March 6, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with James Newcomb officiating. Burial followed in Crump Cemetery.
