Amond “Tom” Boswell (3-6-21)

Amond “Tom” Boswell, of Sardis, was born in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 15, 1946, the son of the late Amond Thomas and Thelma Juanita Terry Boswell.
On April 28, 1967, he was united in marriage to Bonnie Jean Miller, who survives.
Tom, as he was known by everyone, was a retired tractor trailer driver for ABF Trucking. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a loving grandfather and great-grandfather.
Tom departed this life on Saturday, March 6, in Sardis, at the age of 75 years, 1 month and 19 days.
In addition to his wife of 53 years, Bonnie of Sardis, he is survived by his sons, Wayne T. Boswell and Danny R. Boswell; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, John Boswell and David Boswell; and sisters, Darlene Warren, Kathy Hammett and Mary Boswell.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, David Boswell; and one great-grandchild, Nathaniel “Nate” Walford.
