Ernest Ventrini (2-23-21) service 3-1-21

Ernest Ventrini, 84, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Feb. 23, in Savannah.
He was born in Mississippi. the son of the late Pete and Josephine Vescovi Ventrini. He was united in marriage to Margaret N. Blackwell, who survives.
Mr. Ventrini served his country in the United States Army. He was a retired truck driver and also had worked as a butcher. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
In addition to his wife, Margaret Ventrini of Savannah, he is survived by one son; six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sisters, Erma Sandford, Cecilia Mackey and Shirley Hawkins; and brother, Paul Ventrini.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter; one sister, Jo Ann Price; and one brother, Pete Ventrini.
Services were held on Monday, March 1, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Savannah with Father Dexter Noblefranca officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
