Katelyn Myers (2-2-21) service 2-13-21

Katelyn Rebecca Myers, of Sardis, formerly of Holland, Pennsylvania, departed this life on Tuesday, Feb. 2.
She was born Aug. 10, 2002, in Abington, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Robert and Maryann Myers.
She was a 2020 graduate of Hardin County High School. During her time at HCHS she was on the tennis team and soccer team. Kate was a welding student at TCAT Crump with aspirations of becoming a pipeline welder.
Kate was a beautiful 18 year old who loved life, her jeep, riding in the bottoms, animals, welding, and being with family and friends. She was always looking for someone to take her fishing. If you knew her you knew her favorite snack was David’s ranch flavored sunflower seeds and she had to get a new bag daily. She attended Nixon First Pentecostal Church in Savannah.
Kate was the beloved daughter of Robert and Maryann Myers of Sardis. She is survived by her brother, Charles Jonathan Murphy of Sardis; sister, Sara Rose Myers of Sardis; her twin sister, Laura Marie Myers of Sardis; grandmother, Barbara Myers of Bensalem, Pennsylvania; her aunts, Linda and partner Scott of Bensalem, Pennsylvania, Rosalin Murphy and partner Jason Scott of Morris Chapel; uncle David (Linda) Myers of Holiday, Florida; cousins, Christian (Michelle) Myers of Camden, Wyoming, Spencer Myers of San Francisco, California, Matthew Myers of Holiday, Florida, Noah Myers of Lansdale, Pennsylvania, Thomas Vaughn of Savannah, Katelyn Scott of Morris Chapel, Jayden Murphy of Morris Chapel; and a niece, Jazalynn Josephine Myers of Sardis.
She was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Joseph Myers, Herschel Murphy, James Butler; and grandmother, Kathy Butler.
Funeral services were Saturday, Feb. 13, at Nixon First Pentecostal Church in Savannah. Burial will follow at a later date at Holy Redeemer Cemetery in Pennsylvania. Reeds Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
