Robert “Robby” Marshall (1-30-21) service 2-6-21
Robert “Robby” Kenneth Marshall, of Adamsville, was born on March 22, 1974, in Florence, Alabama, the son of Tommy Marshall and Fay Hardin Stanfill.
On Dec. 11, 2004, he was united in marriage to Karren Browder, who survives.
Mr. Marshall worked for Packaging Corporation of America in Counce for 13 years, Hendrix Glass in Florence, Alabama for 11 years, and was a member of the Iron Workers Union in Counce. Robert was a LT University graduate and a member of Love & Truth Church in Adamsville where he served as a youth minister. He was passionate about ministering to the young people of the church and seeing their lives changed. He enjoyed watching Alabama football and going hunting, fishing and camping. Robert loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren.
Robert “Robby” Kenneth Marshall departed this life on Saturday, Jan. 30, in Savannah, at the age of 46 years, 10 months and 8 days.
He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Karren Browder Marshall of Adamsville; daughters, Karlin Rose and her husband Brad, Taylor Marshall, and Lilly Marshall, all of Adamsville, and Kendra Yarbro and her husband Jeremy of Clifton; sons, Josh Slaughter and Anthony Marshall, both of Adamsville; father, Tommy Marshall of Florence, Alabama; mother, Fay Hardin Stanfill of Savannah; brother, Kenneth Marshall of Florence, Alabama; sisters, Cristy Lilienthal of Michie, Rita Spry of Shiloh and Elizabeth Montoya of North Carolina; grandchildren, Brody Rose and Sutton Rose; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Robert was preceded in death by his daughter, Madison “Maddy Moo” Marshall; and his stepfather, Roy Stanfill.
Services were held on Saturday, Feb. 6, at 1 p.m., at Love and Truth Church in Adamsville with Scott Melson and Steven Moore officiating. Burial followed in Stantonville Cemetery at Stantonville.
