Jane Frey (1-17-21) service 3-12-21

Jane Kemp Frey, of Nashville, passed from this life Sunday, Jan. 17, at The Meadows Nursing facility. Jane was born Dec. 22, 1937, daughter of Lillian “Lil” and Grace Harris Kemp. On Nov. 1, 1958, she married Frank Frey when Frank discharged from the Air Force. Jane lived in Adamsville and always considered herself a daughter of Adamsville, she loved her town and her family. Jane worked at the Adamsville Elementary School for 26 years and enjoyed knowing the children there. She enjoyed tracing her family roots, travel, volunteering for libraries and reading. She was very creative and enjoyed painting, ceramics, quilting, gardening and all forms of art. She loved Frank with all her heart. Jane and Frank moved to Nashville in 1997 to be close to their grandson. She was a member of Bellevue United Methodist Church. Jane was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Billy Larry Kemp. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, daughter Laura (Ron) Waggoner of Nashville; and grandson Nathan Waggoner of Pittsboro, North Carolina.
