Hardin County Chamber of Commerce accepting awards nominees for postponed annual banquet

The Hardin County Chamber of Commerce board of directors has decided to postpone the business organization’s Annual Distinguished Community Service Awards Banquet.
Normally held in late February, this year’s event will be rescheduled for a later date, but awards nominations are now being accepted.
“Our first and most important responsibility is the safety of our businesses, citizens and the community,” said Chamber Executive Director DeLaney Timberman. “We are hopeful that, with capacity limitations and safety precautions in place, we will be able to celebrate our 25th year of the Distinguished Service Awards later this year. We are committed to honoring and recognizing all of the hardworking individuals, groups and businesses who give so much to our community.”
Nominations for the Distinguished Service Awards are now open and will close on Friday, March 5.
Forms are available at the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce office inside the Tennessee River Museum, on the Chamber’s Facebook page or by emailing info@hardincochamber.com. For more information, call the Chamber at 731-925-2363.
