Frank Taylor (1-19-21) service 1-30-21

Frank Hollis Taylor, 78, of Savannah, died on Tuesday, Jan. 19.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Jim Dan and Mattie Pearl Tucker Taylor. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Bailey, who preceded him in death.
Mr. Taylor retired from Tennessee Valley Authority as a biologist, after 25 years with the company. He had previously been a teacher at Dunbar School in Savannah. He was a member of Savannah Church of Christ and was a coordinator of the local NAACP chapter.
He is survived by his sons, Hollis Taylor of Savannah and Malcolm Taylor of LaVergne, Tennessee; five grandchildren; a great-grandchild; brothers, Nathaniel Taylor of Germany; and Emanuel Taylor of Savannah; and sisters, Mary Jordan of Opelika, Alabama, Virginia Taylor and Dorothy Welch, both of Chicago, Illinois, and Shirley Tall of Nashville.
In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Patty Taylor; and brothers, James E. Taylor and Billy Malcolm Taylor.
A Graveside Service was held on Saturday, Jan. 30, at Memory Gardens in Savannah with Malcolm Taylor officiating.
