Joe David Horton (1-14-21) service 1-18-21

Joe David Horton, 75, of Savannah, died on Thursday, Jan. 14, in Savannah.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late John Henry and Dovie Louise Bailey Horton. He was united in marriage to Yvonne Cornelius, who survives.
Mr. Horton served his county in the United States Army. He worked for PCA as a crew leader on the paper machine. He was a member of Masonic Lodge and attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Savannah.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Horton of Savannah; sons, Joe Horton of Belmont, Mississippi, John Horton of Florence, Alabama, and Matthew Horton of Savannah; daughter, Amy Siwinski of Tampa, Florida; stepsons, Brice Turner of Indiana, Brandon Turner of Savannah and Wesley Turner of Alabama; sisters, Pat Martin of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Jeanette Alexander and Johnnie Ruth Allen, both of Savannah; brothers, Charles Horton of Savannah and Jerry Horton of Stantonville; and nine grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Maxine Newman; and brother, Lee Paulk Horton.
Services were held on Monday, Jan. 18, at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Savannah with Daniel Holt officiating. Burial followed in Mount Hermon Cemetery at Savannah.
