Virginia Jackson (1-5-21) service 1-10-21

Virginia Ruth Jackson, 88, of Adamsville, died on Tuesday, Jan. 5.
She was born to the late Harry M. and Gertie Pearl Wheatley Brown in Perry County, Illinois. She married Harold Eugene Jackson, who preceded her in death.
She moved to Chicago, Illinois, where she was employed by Acme Steel Corporation for approximately two years. She was then employed at The Prudential Insurance Company Mortgage Division, where she became section supervisor of cashiers department. She worked for Prudential for 14 years. She later managed a motel for two years in North Fort Myers, Florida. She was a member of Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church in Adamsville.
She is survived by a niece; great-nephew; great niece; nine great-great nieces; and four great-great nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Ruby Brown Emery; brother, Harry W. Brown; and a great-nephew.
Services were held on Sunday, Jan. 10, at Christian Assembly United Pentecostal Church in Adamsville with W.D. McCollum and Phillip Johnson officiating. Burial followed in Pine Hill Memorial Garden at Adamsville.
