Robert Easley, 87, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Dec. 26, in Savannah.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late James Eldrige and Cammie Harmon Easley.
Mr. Easley served his country in the United States Navy. He worked in shipping at Tennessee River Pulp and Paper in Counce.
He is survived by his son, Eddie Lee Battles of Savannah; daughters, Roselyn Wolverton of Mexico Beach, Florida and Regina Easley-Young of Waco, Texas; brother, Jerry Easley; sisters, Joyce Tucker and Elizabeth Rubery; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gwen Easley; and his brother, Oscar Easley.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at Memory Gardens in Savannah with Charles Linam officiating.
