Audrey Cornelius, 81, of Savannah, died on Thursday, Dec. 24, in Savannah.
She was born in Shiloh, the daughter of the late Jessie James and Lena Irene Franks Terry.
She was a member of New Life United Pentecostal Church in Savannah.
She is survived by her children, Linda Stewart of Michie, Vernon “Buster” Cornelius of Shiloh and Nell Mattingly and Wendy Cornelius, both of Savannah; sisters, Amy Brown of Chicago, Illinois and Claire “Blondie” Jones of Savannah; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Jo Seaton, Jane Buckles, Jean Ellis, Onita Wardlow and Lillian Wardlow; brothers, James L. Terry, O.C. Terry, Jessie Terry, Jimmy Terry and Buddy Terry.
Services were held on Tuesday, Dec. 29, at New Life United Pentecostal Church in Savannah with Hulon Terry and Pat Terry officiating. Burial followed in Cromwell South Shiloh Cemetery in Shiloh.
