Geneva Rinks, 93, of Savannah, died Saturday, Dec. 12, in Savannah.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Arthur Morris and Lura Falls Blount. She was united in marriage to E.J. Rinks Jr. who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Rinks formerly worked for Brown Shoe Company in Savannah. She was a member of First Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Savannah, Meals on Wheels, Hardin County Home Demonstration Club and Cumberland Presbyterian Women.
She is survived by her sons, Randy Rinks and Buddy Rinks, both of Savannah; brother, Ancil Blount of Savannah; six grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Carl Williams Blount, Allie Matilda Jane Blount, Maxell Jason Blount, Arthur Morris Blount, Glen Robert Blount, James Douglas Blount, Delmas McKay Blount and Danny Wayne Blount.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Dec. 15, at Mount Hermon Cemetery in Savannah with Enoch Rinks, Ethan Rinks and Mandi Rinks officiating.
