Hugh Bryant (11-27-20) service 12-2-20

Hugh Odell Bryant, of Savannah, was born on Feb. 17, 1935, in Ripley, Mississippi, the son of the late James Wesley and Pearl Hannah Bryant.
On June 26, 1958, he was united in marriage to Dorothy Jean Kirk, who survives.
Mr. Bryant was a member of Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church in Corinth, Mississippi. He loved fishing, working on motors, and doing all kinds of mechanic work.
Hugh Odell Bryant departed this life on Friday, Nov. 27, in Savannah, at the age of 85 years, 9 months and 10 days.
He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Dorothy Bryant of Counce; daughter, Anita Gail Sides and her husband Chris; and grandchildren, Christa Meeks and her husband Jacob, Allison Sides and Luke Sides.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Joe Bryant, Jim Bryant, Murry Bryant and Emery “Bud” Bryant; and sisters, Catherine Rixie, Hannah Farrell, Eva Sue Bryant, Ruby Stanley and Evelyn Farrell.
Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 2, at 11 a.m., at Pleasant Hill Pentecostal Church in Corinth, Mississippi, with Dewayne Kirk officiating. Burial followed in Cypress Cemetery in Middleton, Tennessee.
