Seth Parrish (10-26-20) service 11-1-20
If you ever met Seth Parrish, you made a friend. Seth loved people and made friends wherever he went.
Seth Andrew Parrish, of Savannah, was born in Memphis, on Nov. 27, 1987, the oldest of three sons born to David Randall and Lynn Van Hooser Parrish.
He attended Collierville High School, where he was known for his fun, relaxed personality and school spirit. After attending the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, Seth made his home in Savannah.
He left this world for heaven on Monday, Oct. 26, at the age of 32.
Seth leaves behind his parents; his precious daughter, Sophie; his love, Kasey Creasy of Savannah; brothers, Ben Parrish and John Parrish of Memphis; grandmothers, Jannis Parrish of Counce and Jo Van Hooser of Memphis; and a large extended family who loved him dearly. He will be deeply missed by many friends, including his favorite guys, Noah and Baylor.
Seth was welcomed to heaven by his grandfathers, Gilbert Parrish Sr. and Buddy Van Hooser; aunt Debbie Adcox; uncle Bobby Baldridge; and cousins, Stephanie Boyd and John Gilbert Parrish III.
Seth loved life and always enjoyed time on the water at Pickwick and any afternoon he could fish. He spent his last Sunday morning worshipping at Love and Truth Church. He will be remembered for his kind heart for others, his smile and his great hugs. He is surely in the presence of the Lord he loved, celebrating and making a lot of new friends. To know Seth is to remember him always, a precious soul who will never be forgotten.
Memorial donations may be made to an online scholarship fund that has been established for Seth’s daughter Sophie. Sophie’s College Fund can be accessed on Facebook or through the following web address: https://gf.me/u/y6pbnm.
Services were held on Sunday, Nov. 1, at 2 p.m., at Love and Truth Church in Savannah, with A.J. Fowler officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens of Hardin County.
