Winston Davison (10-11-20) service 10-16-20

Winston C. Davison, of Savannah, was born in Hardin County on Jan. 24, 1944, the son of the late Sam and Ida Thacker Davison.
On March 6, 1964, he was united in marriage to Louise Kelley, who survives.
Winston worked for 34 years at Clifton Manufacturing as a mechanic supervisor. He also had worked for Angelica for five years. After his retirement, Winston worked for several years at Greeneā€™s Interior.
He departed this life on Sunday, Oct. 11, in Savannah, at the age of 76 years, 8 months and 17 days.
In addition to his wife of 56 1/2 years, Louise of Savannah, he is survived by his children, Kelley Davison of Nashville and Kirk Davison and his wife Christie of Newnan, Georgia; grandchildren, Colin Davison and Claire Davison; sister, Edna Welch of Savannah; brothers, Barney Davison and Sammy Davidson and his wife Lisa, all of Savannah; and a special friend, Tammie Wolfe and her family of Adamsville.
Winston was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Keith Davison; and one sister, Joyce Boyd.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, Oct. 16, at Goshen Cemetery in Savannah with Tracy Love officiating.
