Homer Watson (8-14-20) service 8-18-20

Homer “PopPop” Watson, 74, of Savannah, died on Friday, Aug. 14.
He was born in Old Hickory, Tennessee, the son of the late Homer A. Watson Sr. and Jane Dale Watson Pyron. He was united in marriage to Jackolyn “Jackie” Watson, who survives.
Mr. Watson served honorably in the United States Air Force. He was a member of Savannah Church of Christ, where he served as a deacon, was part of the security team. He was a member of American Legion and a lifetime member of NRA.
In addition to his wife, “Jackie” Watson of Savannah, he is survived by his children, Matthew Watson of Savannah and Jenny Watson Lloyd of Lebanon, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; stepbrother, Mike Pyron of Jackson, Tennessee; and stepsister, Lynn Pyron Bowie of Memphis.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a grandson; and sisters, Tanya Watson Stewart and Alice Raye Watson.
Services were held on Tuesday, Aug. 18, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Jim Chamblee, Barry Binion, Dustin Perkins and Donnie Gean officiating. Burial followed in Morris Chapel Cemetery at Morris Chapel.
