Charles Highland (7-22-20) service 7-25-20

Charles Highland, 76, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, July 22, in Savannah. He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Vernie and Bertha Austin Highland. Mr. Highland retired from Skyline Manufactured Homes in Bristol, Indiana, where he built side walls. He is survived by his daughter, Denise Watkins of Three Rivers, Michigan; two grandchildren; sister, Beatrice Highland of Savannah; brothers, Eugene Highland of Mishawaka, Indiana, and David Highland of Savannah. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, James Highland; and six sisters, Floella Qualls, Geneva Poll, Velemay Tilley, Thelma Bevis, Lois Highland and Lucille Highland. Services were held on Saturday, July 25, at Walnut Grove Church of Christ in Savannah with David Highland officiating. Burial followed in Walnut Grove Cemetery at Savannah.
