Bettie Franks (8-1-20) service 8-7-20

Bettie Franks, 86, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Aug. 1.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Lee and Maggie Mae Haggard Qualls. She was united in marriage to Herbye Franks, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Franks was a homemaker and a member of East End United Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers, McCoy Qualls, Kenneth Qualls, J.H. Qualls and Max Qualls; and a sister, Mary Hipsher.
She is survived by her sons, Garry Franks of Goodlettsville, Tennessee and Dick Franks of Shalamar, Florida; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services were held on Friday, Aug. 7, at East End United Methodist Church in Savannah with Thad Calton officiating. Burial followed in Savannah Cemetery at Savannah.
