Patsy Perry (2-23-20)

June 20, 1945 — Feb. 23, 2020
Patsy Jean Scallion Perry, known to everyone who knew and loved her as Gie Gie, left this world surrounded by love and family in February. She had lived and worked in Memphis before retiring from Brim’s Snack Foods.
Mrs. Perry was a great woman full of love. She always had a place to stay and a meal to eat for anyone who needed it. She loved her family almost as much as her  bingo. She was a mother to everyone, not just her children. She is greatly missed.
She was born in Lilbourn, Missouri, and is preceded in death by her mother and father, Peggy and Burl Scallion; her husband, Edward Perry; her daughter, Laura Renfro; her granddaughter, Kayce Renfro; and her great granddaughter, Traci Lynn Steely; her sisters Alice Huffman and Betty Armstrong; and her niece, Cyndi Goodwin.
She is survived by her children, Marie Andrews, Jay (Jaime) Gladden,  and Bobby (Stephanie) Perry; her grandchildren Jennifer Parker, Ricky Flores, Candice (P.J.) Steely, Christopher (Jennifer) Flores, Ashley (Glenn) Ross, Justin (Stephanie) Gladden, Dwight Gladden, Terry (Brooke) Hughes, Jr., Christina Perry, Douglas (Hannah) Renfro, Paul Allan Courtney, Tony Perry, Katelyn Gladden, Caleb Gladden, Antonio Gatlin; and her 22 smaller great grandchildren, and two Godbabies.
There will be a celebration of her life Saturday, July 11 at 2 p.m. at Camp Site 6 at Bruton Branch.
