Willis Stephens (6-17-20)

Willis Stephens, 89, of Adamsville, died Wednesday, June 17.
He was born in Grimsley, Tennessee, the son of the late Frank Ealis and Ora Mae Richards Stephens. He was united in marriage to Jessie Mae Godwin, who survives.
Mr. Stephens was a truck driver for over 30 years and was a master mechanic.
Other then his wife, Jessie Stephens of Adamsville; he is survived by his children, Edward Lane Stephens and Michael Stephens of Adamsville,  Scott Stephens of Townsend, Tennessee, Tony Stephens of Richland, Washington, Kathy Mauk of Cookeville, Tennessee, and Gina Buckner of Monterey, Tennessee; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren;  and his sisters, Lois Alexander, Lucille Robinson, and Nancy Polk,  all of Savannah.
In addition to his parents, Willis was preceded in death by one granddaughter; two sisters, Doris Whited and Donnie Alexander; and one brother, Bruce Stephens.
Services were held on June 20, at 4 p.m. at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah in with Chad Balentine and Robert Howse officiating. Burial  followed in the Crump Cemetery at Crump, Tennessee.
