Sennie Dodd (5-26-20)

Sennie “Sissy” Dodd, 87, of Savannah, died Tuesday, May 26.
She was born in Coffeeville, Mississippi, the daughter of the late Wade Hampton Phillips and Mattie Lee Fly Phillips. She was united in marriage to O.D. “Buck” Dodd, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Dodd was a homemaker.   She was the founding First Lady of the Bolivar Church of God and a member of Soul’s Harvest Church of God in Savannah, Tennessee.
She is survived by her daughter, Judy McCoy and Lori Byrum  of Jackson, Tennessee, Kathy Tennyson of Fairview, Tennessee, Vicki Spears of Savannah,   a brother, James Phillips of Finger, Tennessee; a multitude of grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; nieces and a nephew.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Zenis Phillips.
Services were held on May 29, at 11 a.m. at Souls Harvest Church in Savannah, with Bobby Pickens officiating. Burial followed in the Goshen Methodist Cemetery at Coffeeville, Mississippi.
