Kenneth Bain (4-17-20)

Kenneth Rex Bain was born Nov. 22, 1946 in Savannah, the son of the late Malloy Kenneth and Annie Lackey Bain.
Mr. Bain was a retired river boat captain with Connie Carriers, and had also worked for Alter Barge Line and ACBL.
He loved spending time with his family and friends.
He departed this life on Friday, April 17, in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 73 years, four months, 26 days.
He is survived by a sister, Mackie Nell Simmons of Savannah; six nieces, Jeanette Plunk of Adamsville,Tonia Blackwelder of Adamsville, Theresa McClain of Savannah, Brenda Nguyen of Jackson, Tennessee, Annette Meeks of Stantonville, Tennessee, Shelia Wrzesniewski of Adamsville;  two nephews, Lonnie Simmons,  of Jackson, Tennessee, Eddie Simmons, of Savannah; and his dear friends Calvin and Elaine Cook, of Savannah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Patsy Blackwelder, and Georgia Godwin.
