One killed, one injured in Hardin County crash

The Tennessee Highway Patrol confirms a Savannah man was killed and a passenger injured in a two vehicle crash Saturday in Hardin County just east of Savannah.
The THP said Monday afternoon that Triston Shelby, 19, who was killed, was driving a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon west on U.S. 64. The vehicle traveled off the left side of the highway while entering a right curve and struck the trailer of an unoccupied, parked tractor trailer.
Troopers were not immediately able to locate the owner of the parked tractor trailer.
The THP report identifies the injured passenger in Shelby’s vehicle as Christian Goheen, 20, of Adamsville.
Goheen was wearing a seat belt. Shelby was not wearing a seat belt, according to the THP.
The crash was reported at 9:20 p.m.
Hunter is 20 and the car was a 2003.
