James Black (4-11-20)

James Black,  86, of Savannah, died on Saturday, April 11.
He was born in Bronx, New York, the son of the late Colin and Winifred Carson Black. He was united in marriage to Ann Frances Lynch, who survives.
Mr. Black was a retired detective for the New York City Police Department. He was a member of Emerald Society Pipe Band and Nashville Pipes and Drums.
In addition to his wife of 67 years, Ann Black; he is survived by his children, Bonnie Black, Linda Hartmann, Kirsty Black; and his sons, Colin Black, Chuck Black, and Siobhan Black; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Colleen Black; one son, James Black; his sister, Winifred Black Williams; and three brothers, John Carson Black, Colin Black, Wallace Black.
