Ella Fendrix (3-22-20)

Ella Belle Goodlow Fendrix, 94, of Savannah, died on Sunday, March 22, in Savannah.
She was born in Hardin County, the daughter of the late Will Goodlow and Nancy Shannon Goodlow Tatum. She was united in marriage to Johnny Marshall Fendrix Jr., who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Fendrix worked as a dialysis nurse for 30 years for the VA Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.  She was a member of Graham Chapel CME Church in Savannah. While living in Wisconsin she was a member of Incarnation Lutheran Church, where she was a member of the hand chime choir and was coordinator for the food pantry and clothes closet.
She is survived by her sisters, Mary Goodlow Lawson of Chicago, Illinois, Mamie Catherine Goodlow Adams of Disputanta, Virginia and Bertha Goodlow White-Jones of Chicago, Illinois; and brother, Tom Goodlow of Maryville, Indiana.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Johnny Marshall Stein Fendrix; four brothers, Willy D. Goodlow, Edward L. Goodlow, Leroy Goodlow and William Bedford Goodlow; and two sisters, Burnice Eddlelan and Dorothy Davenport.
