Shiloh National Park changes restroom hours to combat coronavirus

Shiloh National Military Park announced Wednesday that restrooms and picnic area operating hours will be temporarily changed effective today in a continuing effort to support federal, state, and local efforts to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.
Each restroom will be open only every other day to meet public health officials’ recommendations of 24 hour closure before cleaning and reopening. Only one restroom on the park will be open at a time.
Outdoor spaces remain open and accessible to the public and include Shiloh battlefield, Corinth battlefield, Contraband Camp, National Cemetery, Shiloh Indian Mounds National Historic Landmark, trails, and the tour route.
The NPS encourages people who choose to visit during this pandemic to adhere to guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and state and local public health authorities to protect visitors and employees.
The NPS also encourages people to take advantage of the many digital tools already available to explore Shiloh Park such as Facebook, Twitter, the park website and the Shiloh Battlefield app.
