Adamsville City Hall closes for day after possible COVID-19 exposure

Adamsville City Hall temporarily closed Monday for sanitizing.
Interim City Administrator Kara Hill said, “We’ve closed City Hall as a precaution, because an employee came in this morning who was around someone who it later turned out may – and I emphasize may, it hasn’t been confirmed – have been exposed to COVID-19.”
She added, “No one at City Hall has it that we know of, but when the employee was informed that a person they had been around may have been exposed, we decided to close for the rest of today out of an abundance of caution.”
Hill said the building is being sanitized this afternoon, and will reopen Tuesday at at 9 a.m.
