Pauline Franks (3-14-20) service 3-17-20
Pauline Hopper Franks, 85, of Savannah, died on Saturday, March 14.
She was born in Mississippi, the daughter of the late John and Jewel Banks Hopper. She was united in marriage to Rachel Franks, who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Franks was employed at Brown Shoe Company for 40 years and retired from Hardin Home Nursing Home in 2006 where she was a housekeeper. She was a member of Nixon First Pentecostal Church.
She is survived by her son, Larry Harville Sr. of Savannah; stepson, Danny Franks of Savannah; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Linda Gail Hopper of Savannah.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Bobby Paul Cherry; brothers, Virgil Hopper and JD Hopper; and sisters, Loraine Murphy, Gertie Murphy and Josie Hopper.
Services were held on Tuesday, March 17, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with John Robinson officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
