Jo Helen Lackey (3-13-20) service 3-18-20

Jo Helen Hodge Lackey was born in Somerset, Kentucky on Aug. 6, 1949, the daughter of the late Joe Payton and Helen Crunk Hodge.
On Dec. 22, 1983, she was united in marriage to Lee Lackey, who survives.
Jo Helen worked for the Hardin County Courthouse for more than 35 years. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Savannah.  Jo Helen was very outgoing, she loved to socialize and talk to everyone.  She loved her family and spending time with them and was an excellent cook.
Jo Helen departed this life on Friday, March 13, in Corinth, Mississippi, at the age of 70 years, 7 months and 7 days.
In addition to her husband of 36 years, Lee Lackey of Savannah, she is survived by her daughter, Amy Allison Johnson and her husband Justin of Pickwick Dam; stepdaughter, Ann Young and her husband Craig of Marionville, Missouri; stepson, Ben Lackey and his wife Sheryl of Portland, Oregon; grandchildren, Peyton Porter and Abby Johnson; step grandchildren, Kate Lackey, Elliot Lackey, Will Young and Hannah Young; brother, Mike Hodge and his wife Sharon of Byram, Mississippi; sister, Vicki Ainley and her husband Mike of Paris, Tennessee; and sister-in-law, Cathy Nelson and her husband Bill.
Services were held on Wednesday, March 18, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Joe Rutherford officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
