Pickwick Dam lane temporarily closes March 12

Tennessee Valley Authority crews will conduct a routine inspection of the Tenn. 128 bridge that crosses Pickwick Dam on Thursday, March 12, TVA announced.
From 9 a.m. until noon, motorists who drive on Tenn. 128 across Pickwick Dam should exercise caution and expect delays. Travel will be restricted to a single lane while inspection crews close the northbound lane that crosses the bridge. TVA Police will direct traffic during the inspection.
TVA says bridge inspections are a necessary part of ensuring these pieces of vital transportation infrastructure continue to operate safely.
In the event of inclement weather, inspectors may extend or reschedule the work.
