Janice Cagle (2-21-20) service 2-23-20

Janice Cagle, of Savannah, departed this life on Friday, Feb. 21, at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 26 days.
She was born in Warren County, Tennessee on Feb. 26, 1943,  the daughter of the late John Thomas and Margaret Pitts Marler. In November of 1963, she was united in marriage to David Cagle, who survives.
Janice was a member of East End United Methodist Church in Savannah. She taught seventh grade home economics, English, and science. She enjoyed going shopping, cooking, traveling, and loved visiting with family.
Janice is survived by her husband of 56 years, David of Savannah; sons, Brian Cagle and his wife Anne of Olive Branch, Mississippi, and Kevin Cagle and his wife Amy of Lebanon, Tennessee; grandchildren, Sam Cagle, Sarah Whitt Cagle, Ellie Cagle and Avery Cagle.
Memorial donations can be sent to East End United Methodist Church.
Services were held on Sunday, Feb. 23, at 1 p.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Thad Calton officiating. Burial followed in New Harmony Baptist Church Cemetery at Savannah.
