Teddy Keith Williams, of Milledgeville, was born on Dec. 19, 1946, in Milledgeville, the son of the late Theodore Sanders and June Nell Bishop Williams. On Feb. 6, 1972, he was united in marriage to Geraldine Wilbanks Williams, who preceded her husband in death on Aug. 26, 2018.

Mr. Williams worked as a truck supervisor for Jones Brothers in Nashville until his retirement. He was a loving father and grandfather. He was a beloved resident, friend, and alderman of the Milledgeville community. He dearly loved his church and church family at Sinners Hope Church of Sardis. He was always a hard worker, rising up early to be at work first, and farming his crops over the years. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. He supported many charities, including the Shriners, Le Bonheur and others.

Teddy Keith Williams departed this life on Saturday, Feb. 15, in Savannah, at the age of 73 years, 1 month and 27 days.

He is survived by his daughters, Donna Walker of Milledgeville and Cindy Wolfe of Stantonville; son, Andy Williams of Parsons, Tennessee; brother, Dennis Williams of Maumelle, Arkansas; and grandchildren, Kateland Ward, Riley Ward, Brittan Ward, Noah Wolfe, Abel Wolfe, Ashley Cox, Zachery Jones, Chris Doyle, Dustin Doyle, Tyler Doyle and Nick Doyle.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his children, Jeff Doyle and Valerie Williams Ward.

Services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 1 p.m., at Sinners Hope Church in Sardis with Lloyd Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in Milledgeville Cemetery at Milledgeville.
