Roberta Fielder (1-13-20) service 1-16-20

Roberta Rose Fielder, 84, of Savannah, died on Monday, Jan. 13.
She was born in Savannah, the daughter of the late Elvin “Eb” and Virgie Mae Rose.
She had worked for Brown Shoe Company as an inspector. She had also worked for Cherry’s Truck Stop, took care of the elderly in their homes, and worked as a nurse at Hardin Medical Center in the 1950s. She attended White’s Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Steve White, Priscilla Franks, Sheila Benson and Nickey White; eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; brothers, Bobby Rose, Jerry Rose, Jimmy Rose, Larry Rose and Ronnie Rose; sisters, Opal Jerrolds, Virginia Qualls, Jackie Smith and Janie Spurgeon.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Willie Earl White; her second husband, James Lynn Fielder; and a great-grandchild.
Services were held on Thursday, Jan. 16, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Jimmy Wallace and Brannon White officiating. Burial followed in White’s Creek Cemetery at Savannah.
