Leon Davis (1-11-20) service 1-14-20

Leon Davis, 88, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Jan. 11.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Jack and Julia Franks Davis. He was united in marriage to Robbie Cook, who survives.
Mr. Davis served honorably in the United States Army from 1951 to 1953.  He had worked for General Motors in Flint, Michigan, done carpentry work and built furniture in Savannah, was the co-owner of D&D Sheet Metal in Savannah, and did maintenance work for the Hardin County Board of Education for 21 years. He was a member of Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
He is survived by his wife, Robbie Davis of Savannah; daughters, Kathy Tucker and Sharon Livingston, both of Savannah; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Jerry Davis of Savannah; and sister, Lydia Devers of Savannah.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Michael Leon Davis; brothers, James Davis and Otis Davis; and a sister, Lucille Ables.
Services were held Tuesday, Jan. 14, at Olivet Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Mitch Boulton officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery, Savannah.
