Valerie Ward (1-2-20) service 1-5-20

Valerie Dawn Williams Ward, of Milledgeville, departed this life in Thursday, Jan. 2, at the age of 45 years, 1 month and 6 days.
She was born in Jackson, Tennessee, on Nov. 27, 1974, the daughter of Teddy Keith Williams and the late Geraldine Wilbanks Williams. On June 11, 1993, she was united in marriage to Rodney Ward, who survives.
Valerie was a devoted wife for 26 years and family was her hobby. She was a loving mother, caregiver, counselor, devoted daughter, sister and friend…she was “Superwoman” to her family and friends. Valerie was a lover of God, always living in God’s will and was a member of Sinners Hope Church. Valerie will be missed dearly.
In addition to her husband, Rodney Ward of Milledgeville, she is survived by children, KateLand Dawn Ward of Florence, Alabama, Riley Ruel Ward and Brittan Charles Ward, both of Milledgeville; father, Teddy Keith Williams of Milledgeville; sister, Cindy Wolfe of Stantonville and Donna Walker of Milledgeville; and brother, Andy Williams of Parsons.
Along with her mother, Valerie was preceded in death by her brother, Jeff Doyle; sisters, Robbie Renee Doyle and Marittia Ann Doyle; and grandparents, Ruby and Homer Wilbanks, and June Nell and Sanders “T.S.” Williams.
Services was held on Sunday, Jan. 5, at 1 p.m., at Sinners Hope Church in Sardis with Lloyd Blankenship officiating. Burial followed in Milledgeville Cemetery.
