Bobby Amos Culp was born June 2, 1940, in Waynesboro, the son of the late Clayton and Nannie Mae Middleton Culp.
Mr. Culp was an over-the-road truck driver.
He departed this life on Tuesday, Dec. 31, in Clifton, making his stay in this life some 79 years, 6 months and 29 days.
He is survived by special caretakers, Elizabeth Copeland of Savannah, Travis Copeland of Savannah, Ann Southern of Selmer, Valerie Bonee of Savannah; a daughter, Leslea Blaine Hartzke and husband Jeff of St. Louis, Missouri; two grandchildren, Brady Hartzke and Brooklyn Hartzke; a nephew, Donnie Culp of Jackson, Tennessee; and a niece, Jackie Hope of Memphis.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Culp was preceded in death by a brother, Billy Culp; and a sister, Virginia Lineberry.
A graveside service was held on Jan. 3, at 1 p.m., at Memorial Gardens in Waynesboro with Chad Balentine officiating.
