Willie Pearl Wheeler (12-27-19) service 1-2-20

Willie Pearl Eaves Wheeler, 88, of Michie, died on Friday, Dec. 27, in Memphis.
She was the daughter of the late Clarence Alexander and Maggie Farris Eaves. She was united in marriage to Raymond Victor Nabors, who preceded her in death. She later married William Wheeler, who also preceded her in death.
In 1959, she got her beautician license and taught/managed five beauty schools in Virginia for many years. In 1974 she opened up Wheeler and Nabors Beauty Academy in Savannah. In 1988, she began working at School of Hair Design in Savannah. She retired after 30 years as a beautician.
She is survived by five sons, Randy Nabors, Ricky Nabors, Bobby Nabors, Bryan Wheeler and Patrick Wheeler; 12 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husbands, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Peggy Dean Bickley and Mable Ashe.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Jan. 2, from 9 a.m. until service at 1 p.m., all held at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Selmer with Steven Wilbanks officiating. Burial will follow in Lebanon Cemetery at Michie.
