Joseph “Mike” Taylor (12-11-19) service 12-14-19

Joseph “Mike” Taylor, 70, of Savannah, died Wednesday, Dec. 11.
He was born in Savannah, the son of the late Aubry Maynard Taylor and Allie Marie McFalls McFall Taylor Jones. He was united in marriage to Barbara Ann Stanfill, who survives.
He served his country in the United States Army from September of 1968 to August of 1971.  After serving in the Army he worked as a truck driver and a mechanic. His most recent employment was at BR Supply in Adamsville.
In addition to his wife Barbara of Savannah, he is survived by his children, Brian Taylor of Nashville, Joby Taylor of Savannah, Casey Taylor of Savannah and Jill Taylor of Counce; 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren ; and one sister, Shelba Jean Turnbow.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, James L. McFall; and one sister, Sheila Newman.
Services were held on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Rev. Randy Isbell officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
