Cathy Franks (12-4-19) service 12-9-19

Cathy Lynn Turnbo Franks, 56, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Dec. 4.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of Walton “Walt” Turnbo and the late Betty Ruth Stafford Turnbo.
She worked as a seamstress for Angelica Manufacturing and in bookkeeping for Ronald Franks Construction and River City Concrete. She had also worked at Toll House Restaurant and Piggly Wiggly. She was a member of First Assembly of God in Savannah.
She is survived by her children, Patrick Dwain Franks and Katie Lynn Holt, both of Savannah; granddaughter; father, Walton “Walt” Turnbo of Savannah; and sister, Linda Diana Wicker of Adamsville.
In addition to her mother, Betty Ruth Turnbo, she was preceded in death by one brother, Michael Turnbo; and one sister, Vickie Marie Turnbo.
Services were held on Monday, Dec. 9, at 1 p.m., at  Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Todd Alexander officiating. Burial followed in Adamsville Cemetery at Adamsville.
