Dock White (11-30-19) service 12-4-19

Dock White, 76, of Savannah, died on Saturday, Nov. 30.
He was born in Hardin County, the son of the late Herbert and Annie Bonee White. He was united in marriage to Mary Louise Melson, who preceded him in death.
Mr. White worked in maintenance at the Hardin County Courthouse and had also been an electrician at Clayton Homes. He attended Plummer’s Chapel Church.
He is survived by his children, Tommy White and Marty White, both of Savannah; sisters, Joyce Boroughs of Morris Chapel, Thelma White of Arkansas and Etta Sue White of Savannah; four grandchildren; and great-grandchild.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Terry White; sisters, Lillie Hays, Willie White, Lorene Melson and Ruby Hobbs; and brothers, Hubert White, Frank White and Robert Earl White.
Services were held on Wednesday, Dec. 4, at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Jeff Crosswhite officiating. Burial followed in Wesley’s Chapel Church Cemetery at Savannah.
