Donny Lee Holloway passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, in St. Petersburg, Florida, at the age of 76.
He was born July 20, 1943, the fourth of seven children, to the late I.D. and Gertruide Holloway.
Before his retirement, he was self-employed as a hardwood floor, carpet and tile installer. He was an Army veteran. He was a resident of Sarasota, Florida, but called Crump home. He loved to fish and eat Tennessee River catfish.
He is survived by one brother, Charles and wife Elizabeth Holloway of Crump; three sisters, Patricia Phillips, Lanette Holloway and Edith Foster and husband David, all of Adamsville; five nieces, Elaine Conaway, Kandy McGuire, Lisa Wright, Christy Holloway and Carol Collier; six nephews, Terry Holloway, Ray Collier Jr., Jeremy Rickman, Mark Foster, Marty Foster and Robbie Foster; and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Roy Holloway; one sister, Bobbie Briley; and three brothers-in-law, Ray Collier, Gene Phillips and Jimmy Joe Briley.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, Nov. 30, at First Baptist Church Crump with Dr. Ken Story officiating. Family visitation from noon until 1 p.m. Service at 1 p.m. Military service and burial to follow at Crump Cemetery.
