Gay Stackins (11-13-19) service 11-16-19

Gay D. Smith Stackins, 54, of Michie, died on Wednesday, Nov. 13.

She was born in Chattanooga,  the daughter of the late Charles W. and Ruby Mae Johnson Smith. She was united in marriage to Weldon “Butch” Stackins, who survives.

Mrs. Stackins had worked at Halls Printing Company in Corinth, Mississippi for 12 years and was a member of Saulters Chapel C.M.E. Church in Michie.

She is survived by her husband, Weldon “Butch” Stackins of Michie; daughters, Alicia Weatherspoon of Corinth, Mississippi and Danielle Madlock of Tupelo, Mississippi; six grandchildren; and sister, Cheryl Wheeler of Tupelo, Mississippi.

Services were held on Saturday, Nov. 16, at Saulters Chapel CME Church in Michie with Mitchell Tulloss officiating. Burial followed in Memory Gardens at Savannah.
