THP announces Hardin County roadblock

The Tennessee Highway Patrol announced it is conducting a sobriety roadside safety checkpoint on Nov. 29 at 10 p.m. on Tenn. 203 at Horse Creek bridge in Hardin County.
The THP said troopers will evaluate drivers for signs of alcohol or drug impairment, targeting those who operate a vehicle while impaired and taking corrective actions for other violations observed.
According to the THP, impaired driving kills more than 16,000 people and injures 305,000 others every year in the United States and roadblocks are “highly visible and effective tools in the battle against impaired driving.”
