Richard Chapman (10-16-19)

Richard E. Chapman, 74, of Savannah, died on Wednesday, Oct. 16.
He was born in Titusville, Pennsylvania, the son of the late George and Margaret Wright Chapman. He was united in marriage to Joan Reed, who survives.
Mr. Chapman was a master carpenter and retired from Harrington & King in Cleveland, Tennessee, where he was a foreman. He was a member of Mt. Olive Church in Cleveland, Tennessee.
In addition to his wife, Joan Chapman of Savannah, he is survived by his children, Scott Prather of Knoxville, Terrie Peay of Savannah, Brian Prather of Fayetteville, Georgia, Rick Chapman of DuBois, Pennsylvania, Michelle Peterson of Clearfield, Pennsylvania, Loralie Chapman of DuBois, Pennsylvania, and Shane Chapman of Belle Fonte, Pennsylvania; 20 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, George Chapman, Lonnie Chapman and David Chapman; and sister, Maxine Southwick.
