Doris Margaret Hildebrand McClendon was born in Frankfurt, Germany on May 28, 1940, the daughter of the late Hans and Marie Bocknen Hildebrand.
Doris retired after 20 plus years from ITT in Corinth, Mississippi. She enjoyed watching TV, listening to music, especially Elvis, Prince, Def Leopard and any of the 1980s hair bands.  Doris loved playing Bingo at McKendree Oaks with “The Girls.”
She departed this life on Saturday, Oct. 19, in Amory, Mississippi at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 21 days.
Doris is survived by her children, Mattie Little and her husband Tony of Moscow, Tennessee, Patricia Michael and her husband Donnie of Savannah and Michael McClendon and his wife Dawn of Amory, Mississippi; grandchildren, Wendy Lussier, Jeremy Michael, Cindy Inman and Allison McClendon; great-grandchildren, Hannah Lussier, Madison Inman, Elijah Lussier, Chloe Lussier, Layla Arnold, Evan Lussier, Reagan Michael, Makenley Michael and Aubree Inman.
Services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 11 a.m., at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Savannah with Jerry Milliken officiating. Burial followed in Neill Cemetery at Savannah.
