Hardin County Health Council and community partners host their sixth annual Senior Expo on Tuesday, Oct. 15, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Savannah Church of Christ in Savannah.
Organizers say the goal is to link senior citizens with the services and resources available in the community.
There will be 35 local vendors with educational information at their display tables. Senior citizens will have the opportunity to walk around and visit each display and receive information and gifts.
Attendees will get to enjoy music from Wayne Jerrolds Bluegrass Band and enter to win door prizes. Box lunches are provided for the first 150 senior citizen attendees.
Hardin County Health Council expressed appreciation to Woodman Life Insurance, Lifespan Health and the Darryl Worley Foundation for donating the box lunches that will be catered from The Outpost, and to Kroger for donating water.
